Yoga master Sankesh Sundareshwar is an internationally qualified yoga teacher and has been practicing yoga with different masters in India for the last 17 years. He is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga and meditation with the community and starting face to face yoga sessions at our Aberdeen Hindu Temple ground floor every Saturday 8 to 9.15 AM from this week.

Please note online pre-registration and ticket purchase are mandatory.

Styles taught are Hatha Yoga, Shivananda Yoga, Flow yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mantra practice, various pranayamas and chakra meditations.

Recommended donation of £20 for a block of four classes towards upkeep of premises and utility expenses of the hall is much appreciated.

What to expect at class?

1) Physical Posture practice for strength, flexibility and overall well-being.

2) Breathing Techniques (Pranayama lessons) for invigorating your energy.

3) Meditation and Relaxation techniques to calm your mind, relieve stress and improve focus and mindfulness in everyday activity.

The class is suitable for beginners and regular practitioners.

Yoga mats, warm blankets (for yoga nidra) to be brought by attendees.
